Lead Digital IC Design Engineer (MCU Development) | Shanghai/Shenzhen | 10+ years experience

PI Semi is founded by a team of industry veterans with a successful track record designing and marketing quality analogand mixed signal ICs, a market enjoying $60B in its annual turnover worldwide. Our core IPs and products support such applications as high-speed optical communications, RF bias for 5G infrastructure, medical devices and systems, BMS, industrial control, and automotive ADAS systems and so on. To serve these markets, we are building a portfolio of precision analog IPs that enable high resolution ADCs, precision DACs, voltage references, high voltage drivers andmany other products. Those products can be standard products, but can also be custom made solutions per customer requirements. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, with design centers being staffed in Shanghai, Bangalore, India and Dallas, USA.

At this time, we are expanding our Gen-2 platform for our MCU based mixed signal products. For this we are looking for digital design engineers with expertise in ARM/RSIC-V MCU development.

Responsibilities:

●      Develop the digital design architecture, IP selection

●      Develop the digital chip design platform for ARM/RSIC-V based MCUs

●      Digital RTL design using Verilog and/or Systemverilog.

●      Interaction with Analog Designers and Product definers to understandthe design and interface requirements.

●      Support Verification at block level & Chip level design

●      Perform Synthesis & Static Timing analysis

●      Support the DFT and APR activities

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or related field.

●      Expertise in ARM/RSIC-V based digital design & should haveexperience of taping out at-least 2 such products as a key contributor

●      Understanding of RTL to GDS flow

●      Experience in FPGA emulation

●      Understanding of Microcontroller programming and FW (firmware)development flow

●      Competence in a high-level language such as C/C++ and scriptinglanguages like Python/TCL/Perl.
