Analog IC Designer | Shenzhen/Shanghai | Multiple positions | 5+ Years Experience

PI Semi is founded by a team of industry veterans with a successful track record designing and marketing quality analog and mixed signal ICs, a market enjoying $60B in its annual turnover worldwide. Our core IPs and products support such applications as highspeed optical communications, RF bias for 5G infrastructure, medical devices and systems, BMS, industrial control, and automotive ADAS systems and so on. To serve these markets, we are building a portfolio of precision analog IPs that enable high resolution ADCs, precision DACs, voltage references, high voltage drivers and many other products. Those products can be standard products, but can also be custom made solutions per customer requirements. The company is headquartered in Shenzhen, with design centers being staffed in Shanghai and Bangalore, India.

Join a well funded analog IC design startup as a key contributor with responsibilities to build an analog IP portfolio from the ground up. This role calls for someone with strong analog IC design fundamentals and circuit level design experience. Primary responsibilities:

•Design, develop and define block level CMOS analog circuitry such as amplifiers, voltage references, LDO, DLL/PLL, oscillators and comparators.

•Help senior designers in the design of high-resolution ADCs and DACs. You will have an opportunity to understand various architecture level tradeoffs in data converter design.

•Run top level Mixed signal simulations.

•Lab characterization and test bench automation.

•Documentation including design reviews and silicon characterization reports.

Qualifications:

•MSEE + 2 years of analog design experience.

•Solid understanding of analog/mixed signal IC design, including feedback theory, device physics and semiconductor technology process.

•Silicon experience in one or more areas in the following: High precision (<5ppm drift) voltage references, high resolution (16-bit and greater) SAR ADCs, sigma-delta ADCs for medical/seismic/instrumentation applications, instrumentation OPAMPs, switching regulators.

•Lab characterization and debug experience for precision analog circuits/systems.
